O’Neill Rose Architects is a Brooklyn based architecture firm led by Devin O’Neill and Faith Rose.  Our versatile approach to architecture allows us to create spaces that reflect and frame our client’s aspirations.

We think about movement and connection when we design.  We use light, view, and section to connect inside and outside, to connect people to each other, and to connect people with the experience of place.   Each of our projects has distinct physical, cultural, and historical conditions, all of which feed our work.  Whether the project is urban or rural, relating architecture to its site and context is central to our work.

We balance between the everyday and the unexpected through the exploration of materials and the exploitation of construction methods.  The result is an architecture which inspires people to explore and express how they coexist within the larger landscapes of their lives, and to create richer and more meaningful places in which to live, work, and play.  Current projects include a new 7,000 square foot house in Big Sky, Montana,a masterplan and several construction projects for an educational campus in New Hampshire, and a number of townhouse, loft, and house renovations in and around New York City.

O’Neill Rose Architects has been recognized in the United States and internationally through publications and awards, including the 2018 Boston Society of Architects Honor Award for Design Excellence, the 2017 Society of American Registered Architects NY Design Award of Excellence, the 2016 Architizer A+ Award, and the 2015 Asia Pacific Architecture & Design Trophy Award for best International Architecture.  In 2014 New York Magazine recognized O’Neill Rose Architects as one of the best architecture firms in New York.
