Faith Rose

Faith Rose received her Masters of Architecture from Yale University and her Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College. From 2004 to 2014 Faith directed New York City's Design and Construction Excellence Program at the Department of Design and Construction under the Bloomberg Administration.  In this capacity she oversaw the design of nearly 200 projects ranging from museums and libraries to parking garages and fire stations.

In 2014 Mayor de Blasio appointed Faith Executive Director of New York City’s Public Design Commission.  As Executive Director, she oversaw the Commission that reviews and approves capital projects on city owned property, including architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning and industrial design.   In 2016 Faith stepped down to resume her position as partner at O’Neill Rose Architects.

Faith has written and spoken widely about the design of public spaces.  She has advised the Walton Family Foundation on the creation of a Design Excellence Program for Northwest Arkansas, and participated in the Mayor’s Institute on City Design and the 2015 MAS Summit ‘The City We Want’.  In addition to her work related to public architecture, she has also been recognized for her leadership, most recently by the AIA Women In Architecture organization.  She has been awarded both the 2015 AIANY Pubic Architect Award and the 2015 AIANYS President’s Award.

Faith has taught and lectured at design institutions including Yale University, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Temple University.  She is an Board Member of the Architect’s Institute of America New York Chapter.

Devin O’Neill

Devin O’Neill studied sculpture at Bennington College and worked for such renowned sculptors as Mark di Suvero, Alan Wexler, and Vito Acconci.  He then studied architecture at the London Architectural Association School of Architecture.  Devin holds a Bachelors degree from Yale University and a Masters of Architecture from Yale School of Architecture, where he received the Moulton Andrus Award for Excellence in the Collaboration of Art and Architecture.

Devin has led O’Neill Rose Architects’ numerous award winning projects, including the Choy House, which received the 2016 Architizer A+ Award, the 2016 AIANY Merit Award, and the 2015 Asia Pacific Architecture & Design Trophy Award for best International Architecture, the West Side Townhouse, which was awarded the 2014 AIANY Merit Award and was featured on the cover of the Architects Newspaper, and Hidden Hollow, which was an Interior Design Magazine Honoree in 2012.
